Lavender officinalis , or Lavandula angustifolia , is one of the most evocative aromatic symbols of the Mediterranean region. This variety of lavender is distinguished not only by its subtle and intoxicating fragrance, but also by the imagery that accompanies it. In our fields, it grows serenely in mixed farming, surrounded by the typical flora of the scrubland. This cultivation method respects local biodiversity and strengthens the vitality of lavender . We harvest it by hand, in order to best respect its most fragile fragrances. The essential oil , extracted from these precious flowers, has a color ranging from pale yellow to light green. Its aroma, sweet and floral, immediately evokes the vast expanses of scrubland where it was born.
