Ethical, subtle, and authentic, our products reflect a tenacious desire, courage, and passion for the art of picking and artisanal distillation of aromatic and medicinal plants.
Since 2015, Boèmia has been cultivating species adapted to its terroir while selecting exotic varieties to complement its offerings, meeting the growing demand of our partners. In 2019, Boèmia took its current form as a SARL, steadfastly continuing its work as a producer of essential oils to champion artisanal and authentic aromatherapy of high therapeutic quality.
Meet the founders of the Boèmia brand:
Julien Martre:
Trained in medicinal plants at IMDERPLAM, Julien oversees the entire production side of Boèmia. From picking and crop maintenance to harvesting, distillation, packaging, and partner selection, he is responsible for the entire processing chain, from the plant to the bottle.
Pierre-Jean Michel:
Trained in naturopathy at EURONATURE, Pierre-Jean manages the distribution side of Boèmia. His dedication to nature and love for the distillery's products are his best assets in expanding the Boèmia community of users.
Nestled in the heart of the Alaric mountain, the northern rampart of Corbières, Boèmia is situated in the center of Occitanie and the Aude department. This mid-mountain massif, hilly, wild, and perfectly preserved, experiences a Mediterranean climate with strong winds shaping the landscape in both winter and summer. Among scrublands, pine forests, and often impenetrable holm oak forests, aromatics like thyme, lavender, rosemary, juniper, and many others flourish freely.
